Philips ECG ECG3470, Floppy Disk Read Amplifier System IC ~ 18 Pin DIP (NTE3470)

The ECG3470 is a monolithic READ Amplifier System for obtaining digital information from floppy diskstorage. It is designed to accept the differential AC signal produced by the magnetic head and producea digital output pulse that corresponds to each peak of the input signal. The gain stage amplifiesthe input waveform and applies it to an external filter network, enabling the active differentiator andtime domain filter to produce the desired output.
